The morning sun filtered through a thin veil of autumn haze, scattering liquid gold across the sprawling school grounds. Each blade of grass glistened faintly with dew, and the leaves, painted in shades of amber, crimson, and ochre, twirled slowly to the ground as though in a choreographed dance.
